KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 7: The Department of Information Malaysia (JaPen) has lined up a series of Info-On-Wheels (IOW) initiatives in conjunction with the MADANI Government’s One-Year Programme at 12 parliamentary constituencies around Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

According to JaPen, an inclusive approach was implemented through IOW mobile publicity besides the distribution of posters and leaflets in focal areas to promote and market information related to the programme to members of the public.

“The frequency of IOW implementation in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya is between four to five times a day according to the scheduled parliamentary constituencies,” a JaPen said in a statement here today.

The JaPen held a Special IOW: One-Year Programme with the MADANI Government at the Sentul Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) here today, which was attended by JaPen Information Director of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Muhammad Najmi Mustapha.

The One-Year Programme with the MADANI Government takes place for three days starting tomorrow until Sunday at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium grounds, with the aim of spreading the word and promoting new policies and initiatives introduced to the people by the Unity Government since taking over the administration of the country on Nov 24, 2022.

The programme, which aims to target 200,000 visitors, is also to increase public awareness and understanding of the government’s direction in order to build trust and confidence between the federal administration and the people by reporting on its achievements.
