Dear Santa,
I hope this letter finds you well at the North Pole, surrounded by the joy of the season and a flurry of holiday cheer!
As the festive spirit fills the air, I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt wishes for the beautiful state of Pulau Pinang or Penang as it is popularly known.
This year, I’m wishing for a little less greed and a lot more kindness towards our beloved Mother Earth.
May our leaders and planners truly listen to the needs of the people, especially when it comes to providing genuinely affordable housing.
It’s high time to turn promises into reality and ensure that every resident can call Penang home.
As we look towards solutions for traffic congestion and eco-friendly transport options, I hope our planners will lead with their hearts, considering the legacy we leave for future generations.
After all, isn’t Penang already blessed with breathtaking natural beauty and rich heritage attractions, with the bonus of tasty eats? Let’s not compromise the quality of life for residents in the race for tourism dollars.
So, dear Santa, as you prepare your sleigh for this festive season, please sprinkle some magic over Penang.
May our community and its leaders embrace kindness, sustainability, and a shared commitment to nurturing our environment.
Wishing you and your team a joyful holiday season filled with warmth and laughter!
Warm regards and Happy 2025,
Pulau Pinang
