CAIRO, March 3 (Bernama-SPA) –The Arab Parliament has denounced the Israeli government’s decision to halt humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, calling it a war crime against humanity, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a statement released on Sunday, the parliament said the decision violates international humanitarian law and international agreements that ensure aid reaches civilians during conflicts.
The parliament urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take immediate action to force Israel to allow aid into Gaza immediately and unconditionally.
It warned that Israel is endangering innocent lives by using starvation as a weapon, especially during Ramadan.
