KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28: If all goes well, Manchester United Football Club could be heading to Malaysia for a post-season friendly after the English Premier League ends in late May this year, according to the BBC.
The British news broadcaster says the Red Devils are considering playing in Malaysia where they have a huge fan base and in Hong Kong.
Manchester United last played in Malaysia in 2009.
Coach Ruben Amorin’s players will have their last EPL match this year against Aston Villa on May 25 while the Champions League final is on May 31, after which football players have to be released for international duty, according to the BBC.
