Batang Kali Landslide: Robbed of their lives in their prime, all victims below 45 years of age

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 18 – A majority of those who perished in Friday’s tragic landslide along the Genting Highland – Batang Kali road were in the prime of their lives, in their 30s and 40s, while the rest were children.

The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) has released the names of 21 victims, with another three more of them still undergoing identification process.

Another eight victims who were injured are either under treatment in the hospital or have been discharged.

Another 9 people remain unaccounted for as search and rescue mission entered the third day on Sunday.
