KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7: The Bukit Jalil National Stadium’s track has been opened to schools without proper track facilities to hold their annual sports days since earlier this year, says Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh.
The move is hoped to allow these schools to organise their sports days properly and uncover promising talents to bring greater glory to Malaysian athletics in the process, she said at a reception here yesterday to mark the joint 80th birthday celebrations of Malaysian sports legends Tan Sri Dr Mani Jegathesan and Dato’ Paduka M. Rajamani.
