Jazeman to make Lamborghini Super Trofeo debut in Australia

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) — Malaysia’s renowned four-wheel racer Jazeman Jaafar is set to rev his engines in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo when he makes his debut in the race at The Bend, Australia this weekend.

Jazeman in a statement said he will be racing in an all-Malaysian team and joins force with Arrows Racing and its driver Selim Rafique in the Pro-AM category.

“Preparations have been going and I have been on a strict training regime. It will be my very first time competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo with Arrows Racing held at The Bend, Australia and joining force with Selim Rafique for an all-Malaysian line-up.

“Looking forward to the fresh new challenge ahead of us especially adapting to the new car,” he said in a statement today. 

Jazeman is a former junior single seater champion who had earlier applied his formidable racing prowess in Le Mans Prototype (LMP) 2 and other sports car competition including finishing fourth in the 2018/2019 Federation of International Automobiles (FIA) World Endurance Championship LMP2 class.
