In Malaysia, Intel drives a wide range of programs for empowering students, professionals, citizens, and leaders to actively participate in and benefit from a digital economy.

Intel collaborates with MyDIGITAL Corporation to bring AI untuk Rakyat (“AI for Citizens”) program to Malaysians to build AI awareness and understanding. Over one million participants have accessed the program since its official launch by the Prime Minister of Malaysia in January 2024.

Over 500 students trained under the AI For Youth program launched in collaboration with CREST (Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology Center) in 2021. As part of the initiative, Intel also collaborated with the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation to conduct the ‘Building Digital Readiness’ program in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
