BERLIN, June 20 – They may have not taken the gold, but it was still a proud moment for Malaysia’s Unified Bocce Team on Monday as they won the Silver medal at the Special Olympics Bocce Unified Sports Teams final against Paraguay, which took the first spot.

The Malaysian team players consisted of Raevenkumar A/L Selvakumaran, Wafi Anas Bin Mohd Kharul Anuar, Wafi Anas Bin Mohd Kharul Anuar, Tengku Nur Muzafirah Bt Tengku Khairul Muzamir and Nurul Syafinaz Aisyira Bt Mohd Zamri.

Bocce (pronunciation: baa-chee) is a lawn or yard game that’s played with eight weighted balls aimed at a smaller target ball, or pallino. The objective of the game is to earn points by getting your balls closer to the pallino than your opponent does.

Team spirit was very strong as all of the players were seen holding their hands together and encouraging each other just before the games.

Each of the player displayed confidence and composure as they tackled their game in their own unique style. Congratulations!
