KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17: Several key areas affecting the future of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs), especially in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to empower business performances and e-Invoicing compliance, will be discussed at SME Malaysia’s one-day SME Business Talk here on Feb 25.
To be held at Menara Affin @ TRX here, it will start with a keynote address by the Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo.
This event, which is part of SME Malaysia’s Business Talk Series 2025, aims to provide SMEs with valuable insights into AI applications in finance and the adoption of e-invoicing, helping businesses enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Chin Chee Seong, President of SME Malaysia, said the event is being designed to empower SMEs through direct, insightful sharing sessions from key government agencies and industry experts in an initiative dedicated to enhancing business performance, driving innovation, and fostering sustainable growth for the Malaysian economy.
There will be presentations on e-Invoicing for SME Digitalisation by Saiful Izwan, Director of E-Invoicing and Standardisation at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC); e-Invoicing for SME Business by Dr. Rasyidah Che Rosli, Director of e-Invoicing Division, Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and a panel discussion on “Empowering SMEs through digitalisation: Harnessing e-Invoicing and AI for a smarter future”.
