At a press conference here today to address the outage that affected many sectors including in Malaysia from transportation to health services, he indicated that it was not a matter of cybersecurity but more of system weaknesses.

He also addressed the immediate phishing activities following the outage, said to be caused by an update of the service that affected millions of Microsoft-Windows based devices worldwide.
