PETALING JAYA, Mar 4: The Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin recently graced the premiere screening of “Inside Peace”, an award-winning documentary by Cynthia Fitzpatrick. The screening was held at MBO Cinemas Atria Shopping Gallery on Saturday evening and was organised in collaboration with the Prem Rawat Foundation.
The special screening was attended by more than 200 invited guests including guests of honour, former Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Noor Hisham Abdullah as well as the Police Chief of Selangor Datuk S Sasikala Devi.
The documentary narrates the journey of four incarcerated men at the Dominguez State Jail in San Antonio, Texas who embark on a path of self-discovery through the Peace Education Program (PEP), aiming to break free from cycles of negativity and crime.
The documentary has won various awards such as the 2015 San Antonio Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary. The film also features international motivational speaker and founder of the PEP, Prem Rawat, who speaks of the choices individuals can make towards peace amid the many challenges they face in life.
