ISTANBUL, April 16: One of the best ways to discover the real beauty of a city is to take the off beaten tracks, something seasoned travellers may already know, and enjoy the pleasant discoveries.
Sometimes, it is about discovering the kind of food you have never tasted before, in its most authentic form, and sometimes it is the sheer beauty of a place, that seems so unworldly and yet so much part of our lovely earth.
My latest destination this year is Turkey, a definitely popular tourist spot. After a tour of the city of Istanbul, my travel companion and I visited Cappadocia, an ancient region in central Anatolia.
Our hotel was a beauty by itself, built along the ancient rock formations. This morning, we will be heading for a hot air ballon experience…it is time to travel for sure.
