KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22: WE Editorial Services Sdn Bhd, which runs the weekly-echo.com (Weekly Echo) news website, has signed an agreement with the National News Agency, BERNAMA, to subscribe to the latter’s General News Service.
The agreement will enable Weekly Echo, which is in its third year of operations, to provide a wider presentation of news and help it grow its aspirations to continue with a balanced reporting of events within and outside the country, said its Editor-In-Chief, Datuk Yong Soo Heong.
Weekly Echo started its online news operation in April 2021 with a small team of journalists and contributors providing selected news coverage, including through its social media channels.
